one of the guys in the shop was from yonkers. i told him i used to live in new york about an hour some change from the city. he asked where, and when i responded warwick, he told me he knew where that was. most people say they’re familiar with warwick, which is nuts to me because warwick is a small town. not only did he know about it, he knew about applefest and the drive-in theatre next to the shoprite. that knowledge of warwick is golden, almost like bruh was a local. made me feel good. made me want to go back to warwick and experience it as a young adult. i gotta make some time in 2019.
