The Midnight Writers Society
was founded in 2023 after I began writing for my project, RDL365. Similar to the conundrum I had with my music, I had the same with my writing. I wanted a label or something similar where all my writing could be compiled and officially released. I sat on the idea for a while, then one night I was rewatching Robin Williams in Dead Poets Society. In the film he tells his students they must strive to find their own voice because the longer they wait to begin, the less likely they are to find it at all. Inspired to be urgent and decisive, shortly thereafter The Midnight Writers Society was founded. Some notable projects under The Midnight Writers Society include RDL365 (a project filled with random thoughts uploaded daily since New Year’s Eve 2024) and the running diary. (an online diary documenting the everyday happenings of my life with one picture and one writing post for every day since March 12th 2017).
Because The Midnight Writers Society didn’t exist before the running diary., Summer 2015, and The Story of Phillipe and Carlos, I’ve taken liberties to add them retroactively.
